Upholstery Cleaning
Just like your carpet, furniture is a large investment. Regular maintenance will make it look better and last longer. Proper cleaning can also greatly contribute to a healthier indoor environment. Our knowledgeable technicians can identify the fabric type of each upholstered piece and what cleaning methods will give your upholstery the best, safest and longest lasting clean.

-
Our 9 step Upholstery cleaning process
- Pre-Inspection
Our technician will Inspect your upholstery to determine what type of fabric we are working with; many different fabrics react and respond to different cleaning agents and methods. Knowing just what type of fabric is being cleaned will determine what cleaning agents and methods will be used. In addition, we will point out any potential permanent stains of areas of concern. We will give you an evaluation of expected results.
- Pre-vacuum
All textiles should be Pre-vacuumed thoroughly before cleaning. We always Pre-vacuum with our powerful, Truck mounted (25 H.P.) vacuum. This step will remove dry soils and any loose partials from cracks and crevices.
- Pre-Treat
After determining the type of fabric, special agents designed for your Upholstery’s fabric type and the soiling conditions will be applied to “emulsify” the soil.
- Pre-Spot
Any potentially difficult spots will be pre-treated with special agents to increase chances of removal.
- Agitate the fabric
The fabric will be gently agitated with soft upholstery brushes to release the soil from the fabric
- Hot Water Extraction
Emulsified Soils are extracted from the upholstery fibers using the lowest moisture cleaning possible as we are cleaning your Upholstery the less water we have to use the better it is for your Upholstery.
- Ph Neutralization
The Upholstery fabric is left in a ph neutral state to produce a soft, fresh feel.
- Post-spot
Any remaining spots will be treated with special stain removal products.
- Fabric Protector
In order to restore the Upholstery as close to like new condition as possible our final step is to re-apply fine fabric protector, this helps the Upholstery to retain its stain resistant properties.
